Tpas is England’s leading tenant engagement experts. They have been representing our members across England since 1988 and our membership is made up of local tenants and landlord organisations, covering over 2.2 million homes. They are dedicated to improving tenant engagement standards across England.
TPAS Scotland is the national tenant and landlord participation advisory service for Scotland promoting good practice in tenant participation. It is a national membership organisation for landlords, tenants and other related organisations. They are a not-for-profit Social Enterprise registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee, providing information, consultancy, training and conferences on all aspects of tenant involvement.
Supporting Communities is an independent charitable organisation which champions tenant and community participation by developing groups, supporting active citizenship and building cohesive communities. They promote best practice in community participation in Northern Ireland through a 'grassroots' approach to community development, providing tailored support, advice, information and training to new and existing community groups, statutory and voluntary organisations.
TPAS Cymru are also members of the International Union of Tenants (IUT). Its a non-governmental organisation founded in 1926 in Switzerland, to safeguarding the interests of tenants and promotion of affordable healthy housing throughout the world. IUT is a non-party political organisation, working along democratic lines. The headquarters of IUT is in Stockholm, Sweden. IUT had 66 member associations in 44 countries. TPAS Cymru meets with representatives of IUT annually and receives quarterly magazine and regular emails. It gives us access to ideas, resources and advice from across the world.
