Meet the Regulatory Board for Wales (RBW) and how you can influence and shape Welsh housing policy

Meet the RBW

Wednesday,  11th May 2022:  11.00am - 12.30pm

Meet the Regulatory Board for Wales (RBW) and how you can influence and shape Welsh housing policy.

The RBW is an independent board that advises the Housing Minister on the performance of the Housing Regulator and the wider registered social landlord sector. They have an important role in Welsh housing.

Following last year’s successful on-line event, we have again invited the Chair and some Board members to a TPAS Cymru session for tenants and officers to hear about, and input into the RBW’s work. Also present will be attendees from Welsh Government’s Regulation Policy team.

Meeting format:
  1. Regulation: recent developments and future work plans.
  2. Tenant and customers’ recent feedback/concerns: TPAS Cymru
  3. How are HA’s performing?  An opportunity for tenants to give their views on how HAs are responding to their needs.
  4. Questions for the RBW

This session is aimed at tenants with an interest in housing policy, regulation, and scrutiny. Housing staff will learn what the focus of RBW is going forward and how that could impact their work.

Cost:
This event is free of charge and exclusively for TPAS Cymru Members
