10.15 Principles of Community Engagement for Empowerment - Power and empowerment are important factors in health and well being. Evidence shows that people who have the power to control their lives or the environment in which they live have better physical, social and mental wellbeing. Public Health Wales has been working with others to develop a set of principle to guide good practice in community empowerment. Public Health Wales will be coming to the officers’ network to share information about this work and to hold focus group discussions to ask for your opinions about these draft principles.
