Openness & Transparency: Meeting new expectations - North

The recent National Assembly for Wales’ Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report is clear that it expects housing associations in Wales to be more open and transparent. PAC also expects tenants to be given more power and information by housing associations so that they can scrutinise thoroughly what their landlords are doing for them.

How will your association respond to this call and use this opportunity to offer tenants and local communities access to greater data and information on what they do and how they perform?

Join us our ½ day regional workshop sessions to explore this question, to look at good practice examples and what information should be available

During this workshop session, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Consider the benefits of openness and transparency
  • Discuss the barriers to openness and transparency
  • Look at examples of good practice form the public and HA sector
  • Explore what information and data could be made available to tenants
  • Explore how housing associations can be more open and transparent

The session is suitable for Staff, Tenants and Board Members
