We're looking for feedback from tenants who have  moved into a social housing home in Wales

Have you moved into a social housing home since 1 April 2024?

We're looking for feedback from tenants who have moved into a social housing home in Wales. This short survey is for you if you:

  • Live in a social housing home (for example, a Housing Association or Council property); and
  • Moved into your current home on or after 1 April 2024.

The Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) is a set of official rules created by the Welsh Government to ensure all social housing is safe, warm, and in good condition. Following changes to the WHQS in April 2024, all social homes in Wales should be provided with suitable flooring when a new tenant moves in.  Previously not all homes were provided with flooring, such as carpets.

We are running a short survey for tenants who have moved into their home since this change to understand your experiences of moving into a home with flooring, the benefits, and any challenges you may have faced.

We previously carried out research on flooring in social housing in 2020 and 2023, and now we want to hear directly from tenants about how the new requirement is working in practice and what difference it has made to you as Tenants moving into a home.

All responses will be anonymised and used in a short report to help improve understanding and support learning across the housing sector.

The survey only takes a few minutes to complete - There are only 5 survey questions. Please do take part now: https://tpascymru.questionpro.eu/socialhousingtenantsandflooring

When you take part, you can also be entered into a prize draw.

The survey will close on 18th August, and we would really appreciate hearing about your experience.
