Damp/Mould & Hazards Roundtable for staff

Be part of our next All-Wales Roundtable session for staff, focusing on damp/mould and hazards response.

The impact of disrepair: damp & mould in tenants’ homes remains high on agendas, including in the anticipated addendum to The Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS), to specify a rule(s) in relation to social landlords’ response to damp, mould and other hazards which have significant health impacts.

This online Roundtable session is a forum to enable you to network, share thoughts and ideas, ask questions and share approaches and practice with other delegates present.

During this next Roundtable we will focus on some key themes:

• Preparedness for autumn/winter – what are organisations planning to prevent and respond to potential increases in cases during the coming colder months?     e.g. information campaigns for Tenants, staff training, use of sensors and the use of data to identify homes most at risk. 
• Hazards response - proposed ‘Rule’– How is your organisation preparing for the introduction of a proposed new ‘rule’?  Is your organisation already meeting possible new requirements? 
• Case Study – we will also hear from ClwydAlyn about how they have changed their Damp, Mould & Condensation policy and process.

This session is an opportunity to network, to talk openly with peers to share practice and learn from others, and to explore what will make a real difference to tenants.

Who’s the session for? – this Roundtable session is for staff with responsibility for related areas such as asset management, repairs, building safety, compliance and service improvement.
