Supported Housing Staff Network

Wednesday, 10^th November 2021: 11.00am - 12.30pm

During our November Supported Housing Staff Network we will hear from First Choice Housing about their successful Tenant Participation projects.  There will also be an opportunity for you to meet other members of staff, network, share ideas and ask for advice!  If you’ve not attended one of our networks before you’ll be very welcome!

From First Choice Housing Association, Mo (Operational Housing Manager) and Eve (Health and Well-being Coordinator) will discuss some of the more recent and future plans for tenant participation. This will include FCHA's engagement with 'Gig Buddies', their quarterly newsletter with competitions, future plans for tenant events, and their collaboration with Digital Communities Wales in providing 190 electronic devices (and measuring the outcomes of this digital inclusion scheme regarding health and well-being). Further work has also focused on the importance of outside space and community cohesion, with plans to host a garden party and funding secured to install fruit and herb gardens at three FCHA properties.
