Inclusive Engagement - Getting It Right

This course has been developed as a partnership between Tai Pawb and TPAS Cymru using the shared expertise of both organisations. The course is designed to reflect good practice and will be delivered by experienced trainers from both organisations.

Without meaning to, we often put up barriers that stop our tenants and residents from taking part in the events we design to include them!

This 1 day training session will focus on what we can do as individuals and organisations to avoid building barriers and to make it easier for our tenants/residents, whoever they are, to get involved.

On this course you will:

• Explore involvement and engagement benefits
• Identify barriers to engaging with tenants and residents from ‘need to reach’ groups
• Look at some of the recommendations from the recently published document The Right Stuff – Hearing the tenants’ voice
• Recognise how to avoid or remove barriers to involvement and engagement
• Design opportunities for inclusive involvement/engagement
• Consider the importance of reviewing activities

This course is aimed at:

Anyone who wants to know about the best ways of engaging with tenants/residents to be inclusive.

This training course can be delivered in-house in a location convenient for your organisation, and in English or Welsh. The content of the training courses can be modified to suit the needs of your organisation
