Robert Price Sustainable Energy Centre, Newport

TPAS Cymru has set up a special event in Newport, South Wales for you that combines a fascinating tour of a Net Zero technology centre, followed by a round table discussion with like-minded social housing staff who have an interest in Net Zero.

Sound interesting?

This new Net Zero Engagement Club will take place at the Robert Price Sustainable Energy Centre in Newport. This showroom is part of a training academy that is set up to demonstrate sustainability products and renewable technologies. They have it all - heat pumps, battery storage, water capture solutions etc. This is perfect for those who want to see and learn more about Net Zero technology and its role in the new WHQS2 objectives.

The first half of the session will be a guided tour through their fascinating showroom of technology and about their training programme, and then we will regroup in their conference room next door to discuss Net Zero. As this is a networking event, it’s an opportunity for you to be a part of a round table discussion on Net Zero, tenant engagement, communication etc. of this important subject. This is a great chance to get to know others in the sector who have similar interests and goals pertaining to Net Zero.

Tea and coffee will be provided. The tour will begin at 11am sharp. There is ample parking at the location: Robert Price Sustainable Energy Centre is at Old Compton Place Corporation Road, Newport NP19 4AD.

This event is suitable for housing staff who have an interest in net zero, whether you are tenant facing, communications, or are still learning the technical side.
