Our 2nd annual Rent Setting Consultation debrief

Over the last 2 years, the cost-of-living crisis has put extreme pressures on tenants across Wales. The topic of rent and rent setting has remained a hot topic for both tenants, staff and members of the public, as demands for keeping rents affordable have been balanced with funding services across Wales.

Following on from our first Rent Setting consultation report in 2022, we launched our latest Tenant Pulse survey looking at the issue a year later. In our survey, we have been ask the important question  - what are tenants’ perceptions of their rents and how will the next year impact them? We’ve heard the voices of 881 tenants from across Wales, and from every Local Authority, and we’re ready to share our report.
