The Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) is a scheme that lets households earn money by selling unused renewable electricity like solar power back to the grid. The benefit can be used in different ways, but only if we understand how, it works and who it’s for. This is a subject that tenants have raised with their landlords in meetings.

Social housing has a number of different interpretations and different policies  – its time to understand the reasons why and what that means for tenants and landlords.
