Updated workshop session
Thursday 4th December 2025 – 10am – 12noon
Damp and mould remains a real challenge in social housing landlords, endangering Tenants' health and driving up compliance risks.
The new ‘Awaab’s Law’ style rules coming to Wales will set out clear timescales and processes for responding, for this to make a real difference it also requires landlords to support and understand their Tenants needs. This includes adapting to meet the needs of all residents and ensure the most vulnerable tenants are not left behind.
Be part of this revised and updated workshop session designed to support all staff, helping them to provide safe, healthy homes for everyone.
Using insight from Tenants, the latest sector good practice and real-life scenarios, we’ll explore approaches to help organisations and their staff to respond positively, proactively and with empathy to tenants’ concerns around damp and mould.
This will be an interactive session and areas covered will include:
-
the latest sector context
-
understanding who is most at risk of health issues from damp and mould.
-
understanding and identifying Tenants’ individual needs.
