Our new online governance support event is dedicated to exploring how you can develop stronger connections between boards and tenants to support board assurance, influence strategic decision-making and meet regulatory expectations around self-evaluation.

There will also be an opportunity to share practice and approaches, to explore what’s working, what’s missing and what will make a real difference to governance and your tenants.

Ian Walters, Head of Regulation Strategy & Policy at Welsh Government
Ian will provide an overview of expectations around Boards hearing the tenant voice and provide an update on the Regulatory Assessment Model including tenant engagement in self-evaluation
Ceri Victory-Rowe – Director, Campbell Tickell
Ceri specialises in governance and regulation as well as providing extensive support and advice to individual organisations. Ceri carries out sector-wide assignments including supporting Welsh Government during the review of the Regulatory Assessment Model for the Welsh social housing sector.
Kai Jackson – Kai is a respected tenant advocate, Tpas (England) Associate, and author of the groundbreaking report ‘Is there a seat at the table: Ethnic minority voices in tenant engagement'. Kai will share how the reports T.A.B.L.E principals can support Boards in reaching and engaging with a diverse range of tenants.
Dr Dave McKenna – Dave is an experienced practitioner specialising in public governance. Dave will explore the ‘mechanics’ of assurance and how tenant voices and insight can strengthen Board assurance.
