Tenant Vulnerability in Housing Services: What social landlords need to think about

Tuesday, 14th July - 10am - 11:30am

Online Session

Recognising vulnerabilities such as disability, mental health needs, financial hardship, or age-related issues enables landlords to respond appropriately to tenant needs by providing supportive services and safe homes.

Placing an emphasis on protecting vulnerable tenants also reflects key expectations of the new WHQS Hazards Response Rule and Public Service Ombudsman (PSOW) guidance.

Be part of this essential online workshop which will be delivered by TPAS Cymru partner, Consumer Friend, providing relevant consumer vulnerability training designed with social housing providers in mind by concentrating on common social housing complaints.

Find out why landlords must treat tenants with fairness and respect so that tenants can access services, raise concerns, influence decision making and hold their landlord to account.  Also explore how Landlords can support consumer vulnerability and understand the diverse needs of tenants.

This session aims to improve the services social housing providers give to their residents, ensuring that they get the best outcome and are treated with fairness.
