Having recently responded to the Welsh Government's consultation on the Information for Tenants Document and the abolition of Right to Buy, TPAS Cymru sets out how the Tenant Pulse Community shaped its response.

Here's what you told us in response to the Welsh Government's consultation on the Information for Tenants Document and the Right To Buy

Over the summer the Welsh Government approached TPAS Cymru, asking us to gather the views of tenants across Wales as it undertook its consultation into the clarity of the Information for Tenant Document that will be published if legislation is enacted to abolish the Right to Buy in Wales. To inform our response, TPAS Cymru issued a short survey to the Tenant Pulse community, to gather their views on the clarity of the document. In addition this, we held five consultation events across Wales, in Bangor, Cardiff, Flintshire, Newtown and Swansea. This gave us the opportunity to explore the views of tenants across Wales in more depth and detail.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to complete the survey and attended the consultation events. The responses were incredibly detailed and provided us with some important information that we could share with the Welsh Government. We have prepared a brief report summarising your responses. We hope that this will provide you with an opportunity to compare your experiences with those of other tenants across Wales. The Welsh Government will shortly be publishing a document summarising all the responses it received. We’ll be sure to share this with you when this is published.
