Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 Update 

Earlier this week, TPAS Cymru was sent a letter by the Welsh Government providing an update on the progress made in implementing the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016. The letter set out the work that the Welsh Government had already undertaken to prepare for implementation, the work that is yet to be undertaken, and the anticipated date of implementation. Those of you who have recently attended TPAS Cymru events and training will not be surprised to hear that the letter states that the Act will not come into force before April 2019. In the letter, Welsh Government also reiterates its commitment to publish all relevant documentation six months before the implementation date. To read the letter in full, click here.
