At TPAS Cymru we love hearing that the great work our members and their tenants do is being recognised. Therefore we were thrilled to hear Melin Homes Customer Service Group has been shortlisted for ‘The Most Inspiring Scrutiny Panel ‘Award at this year’s Customer Scrutiny Inspection (CSI) Awards!

The Melin Homes Customer Service group carry out reviews of Melin’s services to identify areas for service improvement. They have so far reviewed the communications and void property procedures and are now working on a review of cleaning services. The group expressed that they find the work very worthwhile and that many of their recommendations have been taken up by Melin.

Melins Quality Management Officer, John Lewis, talked about the passion and commitment that the group have for their work and this was certainly evident from visiting them. He praised them for the time and effort they put into the reviews they carried out. Being nominated for this award helps to recognise them for the great work they have produced as a consequence.

However John and the group also hope that being nominated for this award will also help raise their profile so that more people will become interested in becoming involved. The group would very much welcome new faces to help their group to continue to grow from strength to strength.

The CSI awards will be held on the 27th of October. We wish the Melin Customer Service group the very best of luck! For more information about Melin Homes Customer Service Group and information on getting involved please contact John Lewis – [email protected] / 01495 745910
