Our 4th annual Tenant Pulse on rent, service charges and affordability shares the tenant voice from across Wales about what matters most to tenants right now. It focuses on the need for more transparency, communication and what needs to be done to protect both tenants and the wider housing sector.

TPAS Cymru heard the voices of social housing tenants from across Wales, and we are now pleased to be able to publish our Report with the public sharing our insights.

The results are clear – affordability is at a crisis point for so many tenants in Wales and we need to act. Both the Report and Executive Summary below provide important insight into what tenants are experiencing and need to have sustainable tenancies.

Tenant Pulse is the official Wales-wide panel for tenants giving their views on the things that matter right to them. It was founded in 2017 by TPAS Cymru (under a programme of work supported by Welsh Government).

It’s run quarterly on topical issues to help shape housing policy in Wales. It covers tenants of both social housing (Housing Associations and Local Authority housing) plus private renters and those in supported housing.
