Our first online AGM will be held on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at 11am.

TPAS Cymru AGM Notification

TPAS Cymru in recent years have held their AGM at our Annual Conference, around mid-November.   Due to Covid-19 we are unable to do this. The Board have discussed and will hold an online AGM on the 17th November 2020 at 11am.

Joining options

It will be held via Zoom Webinar platform (different to Zoom Pro Meeting but ideal for this). Zoom Webinar holds 99 guests, so we reserve the right to cap numbers from one landlord member if needed to allow a wider audience to attend.

We will be streaming it live on YouTube for those who do not want to join the main meeting on Zoom. If you wish to attend via YouTube, do not register via the Zoom link but instead please let us know how to get the joining instructions [email protected]. This option allows participants to observe the AGM and if they have a Google account they can comment on it via YouTube comments.  During the live event, there will be an approximate 20-second delay between the actual AGM, and the Live stream. Those viewing on YouTube can only comment via YouTube, and can not interact directly with other webinar attendees.  The same goes for webinar attendees as well. TPAS Cymru will monitor comments on YouTube and will endeavour to feed comments to the Chair during the AGM.

Whether you join the main room via Zoom or observe via YouTube, all attendees will be able to interact and vote via our Doopoll engagement tool.

The Agenda:

  • Opening welcome and address by Chair, Bill Hunt
  • Reports
    • Annual Report by David Wilton
    • Finance Report by Jane Broad
  • Governance update by Chair and introduce new board members
  • Covid-19 update on our events and activities – David Lloyd
  • A 15min Q&A chaired by Vice-Chair, Victoria Miller
  • Formal close and thanks - Chair

Notes for attendees

  • An easy read version of the Agenda is available here
  • Questions for the Board can submitted in advance via [email protected]
  • Also, guests will have the opportunity to submit questions via a registration form
  • If you wish to take part in any votes or show of hands, we will be using Doopoll for voting in the session. We will explain at beginning of the AGM (it’s simple), but you will need access to an internet browser.  If you are not familiar with online voting/giving feedback we have made a test link here http://doo.vote/agmtest  (less than 1min to try it out)

Registration is via this link https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_vzE6DL1fSAu7yPPhLxs67A

We look forward to seeing at the AGM.

Bill Hunt, Chair

David Wilton, Company Secretary.
