RE:MAKE Newport Store Visit

Thursday, April 27th, 1:30pm-2:30pm

Interested in lowering your costs and living greener this year? Did you enjoy our ‘Circular Economy: How Wales is implementing reduce, reuse, recycle?’ session where we talked about how much carbon and money you can save by borrowing common household items and getting your broken items fixed instead of buying new? RE:MAKE Newport has kindly invited staff and tenants to their amazing community space for a free tour of what a RE:MAKE can do for you and why circular economy is essential for a sustainable future.

This site is the first permanent community repair and reuse space in Wales, with a library of things, repair café, and refill shop. Their in-person tour will introduce the services offered, along with an inside look at how a ‘library of things’ actually works! Join us for an hour for a nice coffee or tea and the chance to chat about how RE:MAKE can benefit your own community.

This event is suitable to tenants/staff/non-members who are interested in seeing a community approach to Net Zero and sustainability. This event is a part of the RE:MAKE advisory group and it’s initiative to provide a RE:MAKE site for communities and their specific needs.

Cost:
Tenants – Free
