Welsh Government have launched a white paper consultation on building safety. To give tenants a chance to understand the proposals and respond we’ve set up a free briefing webinar. Alex Smith of Welsh Gov has agreed to explain the proposals.  It’s short notice but we want to give you time to consider, discuss in your communities and give your views.

Safer Buildings in Wales: What you need to know

Wednesday 27th January 2021 - 2pm

TPAS Cymru invite you to a free briefing session with Welsh Government.

Recently Welsh Government have launched a White Paper consultation called ‘Safer Buildings in Wales’.
The details of the White Paper are here including an Easy Read version.
There is also a short supporting video (<2mins) on YouTube: https://youtu.be/o3_VgIUmuQk

The whitepaper sets out Welsh Government’s proposals for safer building and it includes a suitable period for you to give your views.  It includes sections not just on safer buildings, but new guidance on responsibility for the building managers and how to improve and create a stronger voice for residents.

So TPAS Cymru want to make it easier to understand so we’ve asked Alexandra Smith, Building Safety Policy Manager at Welsh Government to come along to a free TPAS Cymru webinar to set out what this paper is about, what are the key issues and for you to ask questions and give your views.

Interested?  It’s on Wednesday January 27th at 2pm.  Approx. 1hr.

This event is free for TPAS Cymru members.  Pre register using this zoom link https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_3RdU2EviT5eIcyFT9GAyjA
